This superduo bracelet is an easy beginners bracelet. It’s made with superduos, a Czech bead that has a rhombus shape with 2 holes in it. Other from the superduos every type of bead in this pattern can be substituted with a different bead type.
For a 7 inch Dear Diamond superduo bracelet you need:
Lenght can be added by using more beads.
- Miyuki 8/0 and 11/0 seed beads.
- I use Miyuki seed beads, which is a Japanese brand, because of there regularity. But you could also use 11/0 and 8/0 seed beads from a different brand. It could be that you need to use less or more seed beads as different brands have different sizes.
- Superduos (42)
- I do not recommend using twin beads as these have a rounder shape than Superduos.
- 8mm pearls (8)
- You can use any 8mm beads that you have
- 4mm Swarovski Bicones (7)
- You could also use glass bicones or other 4mm beads. But if you want to give your bracelet more bling I would go for Swarovski!
- 15.0mm Fireline
- You can also use other beading thread. I do not recommend normal fishing line for this project as the beads can be sharp and break the thread while wearing your bracelet.
- 2 pony needles size 10
- You can use any brand of needles. The reason I advise to use Pony needles is that they are very durable but very cheap.
- Cutting tool for your beading thread
- Tools to close your jump rings
- 2* 6 mm jump rings
- You can also use larger or smaller rings. It also depends on what clasp you use.
- 1* 12mm clasp
- You can also use a different clasp.
